Heidi Nordby (Hamony in motion) corrected the minutes to state she offers massage therapy at Mountain Country Family Healthcare (Lana Young’s office behind Cup of Grace) and at Timberlake Physical Therapy. With the correction Colin moved to accept the minutes, Karen seconded, passed

Carol Ferguson, Things are much quieter at the library now after the election.

Karen Carpenter. Keeping busy with lots of insurance work.

Heidi Nordby says she is as busy as she wants to be.

Lynn Pasloe Thanks for passing the levy. Since then they have been scrambling to meet deadlines for budgeting and spending. Mountain View High School graduated 90 percent of their seniors this year.

Lisa Arnold reported students including some student council members are helping at the district office this year. As a result, they are planning an Aug 19 11-6 or 7 Dist. 272 community kickoff in Rathdrum, Many activities will be included: Cornhole, bouncy house, booths… Carnival atmosphere… (they would like raffle items). There will be a shuttle bus from Timberlake to Lakeland during the day.

Mitzi Michaud said Parks and Rec rental center opened last Friday, will be closed Mondays, except offered Memorial Monday $5/hr rentals. Youth football, adult softball are starting, Harry Potter camp starting soon, Movies at Volunteer Park will include Goonies Shark tale, and Hook. Info

Mandy and Colin Conway report Sedlmyers first section of dock in, new turf in front, New signs up about parking and beach use. Parking lot gets full without paying customers, also the beach is only for campers… Summer hit early for them with Mother’s Day 4 times more sales than last year, 3 times more for Mem. Weekend. Their Anniversary was fun with Fair to Middling playing music.

Still looking for a movable sign location in town… Music on the deck is happening Thursdays 5-8 Sunday 12-3 schedule on the website…

Dan Fuller, SL Presbyterian Church is getting new stairs on Jefferson street. New sign in expected soon. Attendance steady, now including some worshiping online.

Brad Sondahl announced business is brisk at the pottery. The museum is open Saturdays 1-4, with the first Saturday including old time music jam…

Carol gave out copies of the Visitor’s guides . More are available if wanted

Colin reported several phone calls made to the new number, not able to assist them as it was not really chamber related…

NITA tourism. There was some discussion of where the money comes from and how it’s used to promote overnight stays in our area. It helps pay for our tourist guide.

Boat regatta is approved by the city–Cost $120= $75 park use plus $50 electricity

Correction from last month. There will be no park fireworks for the 4th of July, but there is little doubt there will be plenty of fireworks elsewhere nonetheless.
