From the Mayor of Spirit Lake

A lot of excitement is in store for Summer 2011!
Of course the big news: The revitalization of our downtown. Thanks to the Idaho Department of Commerce for helping fund new streets, sidewalks and some beautification projects to enhance our great little town. We've also been working closely with Jobs Plus to bring Commerce to town. Other big news for Spirit Lake was the purchase of land around, what is now called "Volunteer Park", to build more ball fields and create a fun park for everyone to enjoy. Our Parks and Recreation Department is excited about the completion of the Rec Center and will offer many new lake and biking activities through the summer.
